Located at 552 Wilmington Avenue, VK Ballroom offers professional instruction in ballroom, Latin, and social dance styles for all experience levels. Whether you’re stepping onto the dance floor for the first time, preparing for a special event, or looking to grow as a dancer, our classes combine expert technique with a welcoming, energetic atmosphere. Led by experienced instructors, VK Ballroom is more than just a studio; it’s a community where people come together to move, learn, and celebrate through dance.
VITALIY KOZHEV
Vitaliy Kozhev began his professional career at a young age in his native Russia where he was named the youth Ballroom Champion of the Ural Regions, as well as Silberia and Kurgan. As a young adult, He garnered many ballroom titles, and was a finalist in the prestigious Russian Professional Ballroom nationals. During this time, he also gained worldwide accolades as a competitor, most notably in Great Britain and Germany. After coming to the United States, Vitaliy received national recognition as a finalist in both Rising star professional Championships. Moreover, he was the two-time champion at the Arthur Murray National Professional Standard Championships in 2002-2003. While still dancing professionally, Vitaliy owned and operated his own studio, Golden City Ballroom, for 12 successful years in the Dayton area. Although not longer competing professionally, Vitaliy continues to make his mark dancing across the country in Pro/Am competitions and other events with his students from Dayton- Cincinnati area.
